Jannarelly Automotive has revealed its new Design-1 roadster set to make its UK debut at Salon Privé in September.
The sports car was inspired by 1960s elements and features a Nissan 3.5-litre V6 engine which produces 320 bhp and 273 lb ft of torque for a 3.9 sec 0-100 kph time and 220 kph top speed.
In a bid to keep it lightweight at 810 kg, most of the car’s parts are constructed from material such as carbon fibre, glass fibre and aluminium.
Other features include an optional carbon fibre hardtop, Willwood brakes, lightweight carbon fibre seats, 16 inch Alloy lightweight rims, structural aluminium panels for the chassis and four-point quick release harness seats, while traction control is optional.
Despite coming in Le Mans barquette form, Design-1 is road legal in the UK and US.
Anthony Jannarelly, founder of Jannarelly Automotive: “Since launching the Jannarelly Design-1 in 2018, we have seen unprecedented interest in both the United Arab Emirates and mainland Europe. We are working tirelessly to expand our representation into multiple markets and since we launched the car we have known that the UK has one of the world’s most engaged and enthusiastic markets for our car. We are therefore delighted to have a demonstrator available in London so we can show potential customers the Design-1 and everything it has to offer.”
