The Jannarelly Design-1 has been chosen as the safety car for the world’s most famous hill climb on 24 June in Colorado.

The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, also known as the Race to the Clouds, is one of the most iconic motorsports events in the world. Every year, racers from all over the globe gather in Colorado to compete in this grueling race, which takes place on a 12.4-mile course that climbs 14 110 feet to the summit of Pikes Peak.

Chosen as the safety car for the 96th edition, the Jannarelly Design-1 will be driven by British driver Tom Onslow-Cole (notably seen in the British Touring Car Championship, the BTCC). The roadster has been modified with the addition of a front spoiler and a shark fin behind the cockpit. Engine power has been increased to over 320bhp.
